Photo of Saturn last night which was to the left of the Moon! Taken with my Canon t3i/1000mm Telephoto Lens. Not the greatest of quality but it’s a start and something I am extremely proud of :) I can’t wait to get my hands on a telescope/attachment to my camera!

Sunspot region AR1520 getting smaller in size as it rotates off the front of the sun. It can still swallow Earth whole and then some, so it may look small but it is still massive!
Here is Earth facing sunspot AR1520, today 7/13/2012 that unleashed an X1.4 class solar flare towards Earth yesterday, the CME is expected to hit us Saturday night. Be on the look out for some Northern Lights!
